AP CS A Course

Grade 9 - 12  |  No coding experience is needed

 

In this course, students will start from the basics and learn in-depth each topic while providing the practice necessary in order to master the JAVA language. After that, we catered towards the AP CS A curriculum. In this course, students can develop their understanding of computer coding as they learn the core concepts of computer science such as variables, data types, and control structures. This course is highly suggested for highschoolers who are planning to take the AP CS A class at school.

Learning Outcome

 

Upon completion students should feel comfortable writing code by using Java. Students should expect to score a 5 on the AP exam and an A in the class.

Current AP CS A Class in Sessions

Students with prior coding experience may be able to join an existing class. We will evaluate your student to find the class that fits the best. After evaluation, we may determine that your student will need supplementary sessions to catch up before joining the class to cover missed material. Once the student learns all of the missed material, they will move to the recommended group class.
