Weekly Curriculum

Week 1

Story Book Project
Using their creative and artistic abilities they will be making a story come to life and telling the story they want to tell in their own words and visuals.

Week 2

Racing Project
Design automated racers that will battle against each other to see who reaches the finish line first. This will give them an idea of how numbers work in programming and how it can influence things in our projects.

Week 3

Collete the Coins Project
We will be designing a simple game where we want to get all the points we can get. Students can have fun designing their own characters and collectibles and learn how to make something more with their own controls.

Week 4

Dodger Project
Avoid all the obstacles. Students will learn how to create hazards and design their own levels that they and their friends can play through.

Racing Project

Collect the Coins Project

Dodger Project

* The projects might not be in this order, but we will cover all of the four projects above.

Summer Class Overview

Small Class

Our teacher-to-student ratio is 1:6 or even better, allowing us to tailor instruction based on each student's needs and learning speed.

Parent Report

When the class is done, we will share a parent report that includes a student's progress, our feedback, and recommended courses.

$50 Credit

If a student signs up for one of our regular classes after the summer class is over, $50 credit will be given to the student.

The 4-week online Scratch class will help students design and bring their ideas to life.
