A fun, hands-on camp where students learn the fundamentals of game development by creating their own games.
Students will explore different 2D game genres while learning the core mechanics behind games such as movement, collisions, and player interaction. By the end of the camp, students will understand the fundamentals of game development

Construct 3 Game Engine: Learn to use Construct 3, a beginner-friendly game engine widely used in schools to teach game development and computer science.

Game Design Fundamentals: Understand core game concepts such as gameplay, mechanics, and player experience.

Event-Based Programming: Learn programming logic through Construct’s visual event system without needing prior coding experience.

Player Controls & Movement: Implement character movement, jumping, and interactions.

Game Mechanics: Add enemies, obstacles, scoring systems, and game objectives.

Students who complete the Beginner Game Development Camp can continue developing the same skills in our year-round program, where they explore these topics in greater depth through more advanced projects, challenges, and guided instruction.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Camp Cancellation by Btree Code Academy:

If a camp is canceled by us, full refunds will be provided.

Note: Some camps may be canceled if registration numbers are too low.
Cancellation by Parents/Guardians:

More than 2 weeks before camp starts: Full refund

1–2 weeks before camp starts: Full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee
